Last month, Israel hit a base of Iran hard. Seven Iranians were killed and an expensive supply of drones was lost.
The moment the US broke the atomic deal was a good time for Iran to still take revenge on Israel. They had not done that before in order not to oppose Western public opinion anymore. When the nuclear deal broke on Trump’s signature, there was no reason for Iran to hold back.
Very naive they thought that Israel would not expect such a step at that moment.
Not only did Israel stand ready to repel the attack, but Israel was also ready to give a blow to the entire Iranian presence in Syria.
As many as 50 Iranian positions were attacked and most of them received heavy blows.
The damage is enormous, and then we are only talking about the political damage in Iran.
The moderate president has now become the puppet of the Iranian hawks. His stupid military action, resulting in the expensive military defeat, cost many lives, a lot of material and a lot of political damage. Iran should expect the Israel response and should be ready to talk peace.
Israel turned out to be more than a bit too big for Iran. Iran was like a kid who wanted to play cowboy with a real army. The Israeli counterattack is reminiscent of the Six Day War. She was just as brilliantly set up and executed. The opponent was defeated in one fell swoop.
The danger for Israel is the same as in 1973 when during the Yom Kippur war it appeared that Israel had become arrogant by previous victories and thought that they would always continue to prevail.
