We all know Elon Musk. His electric car company Tesla is finally producing. Solar City is his solar company and SpaceX is his rocket launch company. Not so many people realize that his firm spends over a million a year on a lobbyist in Washington.
The companies are mainly financed with tax credits. Why are taxpayers contributing to his firms? The reliability of SpaceX is highly questionable. Why are the taxpayers financing failing rockets? Why not simply leave the ongoing competition and innovation to push forward. Just have the best option.
If we look at the history of Elon Musk than we must realize that he failed with X. The internet finance company which merged with PayPal.
The real question we should ask ourselves is if the accounting at the firms are honest or not. Will the Elon Musk companies become the next Enron? Where are you seeing the success stories?
The secretive credit deals Elon Musk got in are making him rich. But in all secrecy and at the expense of the American taxpayers.
