The United States is conducting a fascinating trade war. A trade war that can only result at the end of US domination in the world economy. In fact, the United States is slipping into a developing country.
In my podcast, I discussed some very clear examples. Let’s look at what’s going on. First of all, the United States does not do it great. At least not on the only ranking of countries that are really important to me: the economic freedom index. Under Obama, the United States dropped on that list. There is a slight increase under Trump. But to say that it is all so great now no. He does too little in terms of limiting regulatory pressure and it just goes too slowly.
But what has China imposed import duties on? Pork belly, soybeans, and gold. I do not call that production. I call that remodeling and dig a hole in the ground and create it. Okay, mining is more difficult (certainly financially and legally) but this is the basis.
Where Trump has imposed import duties: nuclear reactors, aircraft tires, tractors, aircraft, aircraft parts, refrigerator parts. In other words: production goods. Who really needs those?
The real disadvantage of the hypocritical trade war is that we all participate in this. Europe has levied on Chinese garlic. For the socialist French farmers cannot compete against it. All those import duties are ultimately paid by the end consumer. He can not run away.
This can only result at the end of the United States as the globally dominant economic society. This also means that there will be huge hits on the stock market. You can earn money from that and I am preparing myself for it. I have written a few things about that in my Survive the Collapse report. That only costs you $ 10 so click. here.
